Nasdaq said that PERT pulled his bid simultaneous with receiving my order to sell. (he then filled me for 100 shares on a 3900 share order... ) My hunch is that he was playing the same game as MASH, but was just a little quicker on the trigger.

Amazing how quick they can be isn't it? Those guys are good!!

In this particular case my broker didn't believe me, so I just went ahead and called Nasdaq.

Pretty much the response I got too, or one that said there is nothing you can do, so learn to live with it. As a newbie trader, I didn't feel right about circumventing the chain of command. A the moment, I'm not trading live, but will start again soon. Thanks for the lead. It may come in handy sometime.
