I am sure you know how wars start! That is when the politicians fail, so they decide to send in the soldiers to through a few bombs to see what happened next! Clinton administartion has made a mess out of US foreign policy, since it has no policy, one day at a time! We have Mrs. Albright that was supposed to work with Russians to avoid the present situation! She screwed-up royally! Now we can't give in to Serbs, if we do, we will be fighting wars as early as Jan. 2000. We have Turks who will ear Greeks for breakfast, and that will involve Macedonia, Bulgaria and Albania! We have Hungarians that want Kluj, from Romanians, Serbs who want Western Wallachia, Romanians who want Kishinov and Basaraibia from Ukrian, Azeri's who want the Nagorno-karabagh, Avars in Daghestanskya who want the Darbent from Azeris, Ossets who want Pieces os Georgia, Kabardians who want the area fron Nalchik to Pitagorsk and Mineral'nja Voday, etc, etc. This is only in Europe and South of Urals.. What do you suggest? We pack-up and go home and let our Slav neighbors take us back to the dark ages! NATO has to win and the US has the moral authority to lead! We wanted a new world order, we got it. Now wwe must accept the reponsiblity or else the whole thing will go inot peices. As far as I am concerned, the UN is a dead and the Security Council is non existant! Do uo trust UN troops from Ruandan, Greeek, Belgium. Bangaladsh or Finland to protect your house and family? They have failed evry mission they have been given!
