I don't think they do think it's worse; you give them too much credit. Basically BW is embarrassed, plain and simple, IMO.

Also, there being no intent to benefit financially, nor to procure any goods or services, it leaves it transparent for what it was: part of an entertaining and educational skit. As was said earlier, a bit of art, and free action in a democratic part of the world. The longer BW avoids an apology, the more into disfavor and dislike they will fall. If it was me I would countersue and go after them for the whole ball of wax. The accusations that BW have publicly made are untrue and ugly, and have done a great deal of harm. I would not let them get away with that kind of crap. It makes me sick.
