But the question is, "Did AOL have a strong earnings report?"

They beat expectations, but was it enough? I love this sentence from a fund manager in a MarketWatch report: "The Street has come to expect AOL to meet or surpass expectations." So they're expected to do better than what they're expected to do.

Since the expectation * expectations are so difficult to quantify, we might see AOL and other net stocks falling a bit tomorrow.
