I have written covered calls, so covered puts require I turn my thinking upside down. Wouldn't it be best to sell the puts when the price takes a dip? I try to sell covered calls on what looks like a price spike. For protection against a run up wouldn't buying calls be better (not limiting profits on the downside, assuming ZONA will eventually tank)?
