Looks like to me:
It is costing them a lot of money to generate these blow away revenue
figures. Margins are probably shrinking , and with increasing comptition they cannot afford to scrounge on hardware / software / support as poor service will result in lost accounts.

BTW I don't have any position in AOL. So those with long positions, please do not assume I want the stock to go down. I have a subtantial tech holdings, so if AOL drops big, the NASD tanks, and I am affeced.
