You may be correct, but never short too much so you can withstand a charge. I typically have large long position in more solid companies like AOL and a smaller short in others such as eBay or AMTD.

So, what you are saying is you can time the market.

If so, good for you, because I don't know anyone who is consistently good at timing the market (myself included).

I do know a lot of people who have been successful at buying good companies and holding onto them. Companies like Microsoft, Cisco, Intel.

Arguments have been made for many years about these companies being too expensive, yet anyone who has held these companies for two years or longer has come out ahead, most of them WAY ahead.
