Have you seen NATO's new strategic concept published at its 50th anniversary summit? Very worrisome!!! First, it says that Nato's "essential and enduring purpose . . . is to safeguard the freedom and security of all its members by political and military means". It goes on to describe under what circumstances NATO is justified in using military action -- so broad that the excuses are basically limitless. Next they define the geographical areas where they might need military action -- again, "the nations resting on its periphery from Morocco to the Indian Ocean". This includes all of North Africa (Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, and Egypt), the Near East (Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and Israel), all of the Arabian peninsula (Saudi Arabia, the smaller Gulf monarchies, and Yemen), and the Persian Gulf states of Iraq and Iran. Then NATO goes on to say that they would consider, amongst other things, the stationing of nuclear weapons on Ukrainian territory to be a threat to "stability and security in Europe". Who might put nuclear weapons on Ukrainian land -- Russia of course. This is now reason to go to war! NATOS's new strategic concept displays a contempt for the national sovereignty of neighboring states! PLUS, they are not just threatening non-members sovereignty, but also on individual members!! They want to reduce the votes within NATO from 19 to 3 or 4 (USA, CANADA, TURKEY, and EU). How? They are trying to integrate the member states' military structures to "prevent the renationalization of defense policies". This will include "collective force planning; common funding; common operational planning; multinational formations, headquarters, and command arrangements; an integrated air defense system; a balance of roles and responsibilities among the Allies; the stationing and deployment of forces outside home territory when required; . . ." etc. etc. etc. All of this will tie in each member state to the corporate whole. This will reduce the capacity of individual member states to thwart the wishes of the major powers. By pushing towards creating a single European voice on defense matters, they would reduce the voting members of NATO from 19 to 4. Britain, who previously has been a skeptic on a common defense policy for the EU, had to give their blessing to all of this! This will leave the neutral states of Finland, Sweden, Ireland, and Austria in a precarious position. It may be tough to get the British public to go along with this, however. Basically the "new NATO" has made it clear that NATO, not unlike the Soviet Union before it, is prepared to use force to impose its concept of world order on its neighbors and BEYOND. This is now their stated open policy!!! This new strategic concept not only does not contribute to regional and global stability, but it uncompromisingly identifies the alliance as a genuine military threat to ALL of its neighbors near and far, and they can only respond to this threat in the same way that NATO originally did to a similar threat from the Soviet Union -- BY COMBINING FOR MUTUAL PROTECTION!!!! If people cannot see the movement towards an anti-christ coming to rule, then I don't know what to say. We are very close to the fulfillment of Biblical prophecy -- scary, yet exciting.
