My bet is that with this summer's rollout of DSL, and screen phones, the broadband issue will recede into the background for a while.

Good point. RCN focuses on residential customers, I believe. But is RCN building its own broadband network or reselling components of other providers. Also, what is RCN's last mile solution. That is, what kind of line or wireless solution are they bringing to the desktop in people's houses?

Regardless, AOL is doing well. I'm just an antsy telecomm lawyer who owns some shares in AOL and is a little restless about how they are handling broadband.
