Looking forward to launch in Germany next week. Wonder if it will get good press there?

We would be at 10+ IMO with a respected CEO.

There is an article in the New York Times "Science/Health" section today regarding Viagra's introduction in Japan. I tried several times to attach the link, but keep running into a problem (sorry). If anyone wants to read it, it's at "www.nyt.com" under the Science and Health heading.

Not sure what everyone's opinion will be, but I think this will be very good for Vivus in the long run. This is based on the side effects of Viagra becoming more widely covered in the media. Sort of a back door approach; let Viagra define the ED market and let Vivus sell the safe alternative.

Hi VLAD.
I received this e-mail from Company Sleuth this morning.
Since they gave me a chance to buy more shares before the official Press Release, lets give them some advertisement and hopefully they'll keep the good work:
<<
Hi Amots:

My name is Josh Kopelman and I am in charge of the Company Sleuth product
on the web. I recently noticed that using Company Sleuth you found Vivus'
Patent for Treatment of female sexual dysfunction on March 3rd and posted
on Silicon Investor. Just 5 days later, Vivus press released it and their
stock went up around 70%.

We are considering building a new Company Sleuth PR/Advertising campaign
based on our users' successes, and would like to consider featuring you in
it. A few questions:

1. Did you buy Vivus' stock as a result of what you learned on Company
Sleuth? Did you already own Vivus' stock? or did you not own the stock at
all.
2. Did you make money on the transaction? Would you be willing to share
how much?
3. Are you still an active company sleuth user?
4. What are your thoughts on Company Sleuth?
5. Would you be willing to be featured in our media campaign (possibly
including advertising, radio, press release, etc.)? If so, could you
please include your phone number in your response.

I look forward to hearing from you -- and making you a media darling :-)

Regards,
Josh Kopelman

Vlad...VVUS will not be looked at as an undesirable product for the Female SD marketplace. Local cream/gel vrs pill is much less of an issue than in the Male ED VVUS product method of use for MUSE.

There may be many more benefits to a local cream/gel vrs a pill like Viagra for females:
Cream/Gel may be faster acting than a pill
assist as a lubricant
less side effects than Viagra pill
safer than Viagra pill

I don't expect any one product to have as large of a share of the Female market as Viagra has in the male ED marketplace today.

This could be a giant product for VVUS they may have 50% of the marketplace.

I expect VVUS NOT to make the same mistakes that they have made in the past by trying to be the marketing/sales agent in the USA.

I expect Astra/Zeneca and Janssen to be bidding with others to have the rights to sell the female product in the USA and worldwide.

The female product could attract enough interest in Vivus as a potential buyout candidate for some large company that want's to insure that they control the female product distribution and sales.

VLAD: It's encouraging for us to see it close at the high for the day. This is happening more often now...........
We all can remember when VVUS would get hammered as trading ended for the day.....now, it seems the opposite is happening. 'Seems like a good omen.............the shorts are disappearing?!
