Ron: I'm a Ford long of late who is extremely impressed with "Billy Jr" more important CEO Jack Nasser's approach to fully satisfying the customer. This means more than five start safety ratings and SUV's that some of us want. It means dealerships that give more than what is expected and vehicles that do the same, all the time meeting the concern of many peoples enviorment worries. This world encompassing direction that Ford appears to be taking while making greater profits is what I personally feel will throw Fords into the leading auto manufacturing company in the world. If GM plants tree's does that really mean they are concerned about the enviorment? There's more than Ford's Fuel cell car's and planting tree's to satisfy the customer.

Hi Ron - I am a long time Ford holder...eventually the auto companies will be required (mandated by the Government or a stiff penalty will have to be paid) to manufacture "recyclable" cars...this is a very good first step for Ford IMO. They will be ahead of the curve when the likes of GM and C will be required to make their cars and components recyclable too.

Yes I follow Novel, but also contribute to the boards of SUNW, LSI, AFCI,COMS, PLCM and any other company that may be undervalued, have great emerging technologies and have an innovative management working for the shareholders. I even own Sears ... recently purchased anticipating some new Internet moves by them. However Sears management is very slow to act.

I was quite surprised by Ford's management to commit new capital and utilize such an innovative technology (ie the Internet) to proactively address this recycle issue.

EKS

I sold a third of my existing Ford stock today. If it's up strong again tomorrow ($2+) I'll pare back a bit more hoping to replace the shares at $5-$8 lower.
