John,

Perhaps, I'm adding 1 + 1 and getting an answer of 73, but here goes.

1. The Joint Development program was with a major US logic manufacturer.

Those include IBM, INTC, TXN and MOT, in my book. IBM is the most likely to do basic research. INTC is most likely to do practical or applied research.

When I was thinking that the Strip tool was for Cu and that Cu was at 0.15µ and below, IBM was most probable in my book.

With the UK register story that INTC will introduce CU at 0.18µ; and,
given that INTC is in the process of converting its fabs to that process; the tail end of 0.18µ is likely to happen next year on the accelerated roadmap.

2 Conference calls ago, Brad made the statement that he wouldn't get into INTC due to their COPY EXACT policy; until the next generation of processes.

We're at that next generation.

MTSN did the JD program with INTC.

The pilot line is happening.

Next year this sucker is going to fly. :-)))

Ian.
