>>Given the significant drop in the Nasdaq today (-50) it did amazingly well, with incredible volume once again. In the near short term, this continues to have strong upside potential.<<

The advertising revenue that Bid.Com will receive - based on all of the hits they get related to the interest in the live auction - will be tremendous.

So, in my opinion, it really doesn't matter how successful the auction is tonight, Bid.Com has already won. You know, you can easily change the product selection, and beef up the ability to handle the increased traffic, but to get the free publicity that they have received so far would cost a King's ransom.

On top of that, I bet that there will be most of the executives from the other auction companies tuning in. I wonder how many of them are looking at this company as a potential take over candidate?

Remember, that the Dutch auction style of bidding is a patented feature that only Bid.Com can legally use.

This should be an interesting evening! I hope I get back in time from my kid's band recital. The auction is is important, but sitting on hard metal chairs listening to my child sqweak and squeal while he and his friends play (A.K.A. assault) their musical instruments is more important! LOLOL
