You are entitled to your opinion. The key here might be the word criminal, which you have failed to make a case for. Maybe you missed the fact that the press release was for a "company" that doesn't exist?

I'm personally interested in your evidence for me being morally bankrupt and hypocritical.

Helping people understand how scams really work is hardly morally bankrupt. It is quite the opposite. Your "opinion" that—helping people understand, is a "bad thing"—is not one that many share, thankfully.
