Lorne, you and I both had some Aber shares. Aber has lost a significant percentage of their interest in Snap Lake. I no longer own Aber shares and sold when I read their first release regarding the dispute.
It is my own opinion that Aber's behavior is depressing the share price and the perception of Snap Lake and their own assets.
One of my first criteria in making a long term investment is the calibre of the management.
You will have to make up your own mind based upon your own evaluation of what is going on. I have offered my own opinion and you may accept it for what it is.

"I don't know why, but I do know that
there is most likely more to this than any of us know."

There is more to it. Go to Sedar and read Aber's Prospectus. Many things will become clear to you.

And consider what others have said about directors' responsibilities and liabilities. What do you see? Significant loss in asset ownership, scapegoat and dismiss one senior official and a questionable lawsuit against other parties seeking to recover what the board gave away.
