I can't believe how active this thread remains. Save all your energy folks, this is nothing more than a tax loss waiting to happen.

QUACKERJACK AND THE GOING AWAY PARTY!

I wouldn't be surprised if Mr. B pulled some strings to get the old Thermo Tech site pulled since as of May 1 a new company emerges! This is a great move on Mr. B's part, a clean slate for all. If you want to call Mr. B and personally thank him for this it probably isn't necessary but it might lift his spirits a bit since he will be leaving his baby that he raised for so long.

I don't know who is organizing the going away party for Mr. B but volunteers are welcomed. Tankerjo, would you want to be the valet for the evening? You may get to park some nice cars.
Peterluke, we could delegate you to the main organizer. Firestorm we could put you in charge of the legal end of the party, making sure no one drinks and drives etc... I'm hoping to be in charge of the hot air balloon. Robert Pool could be the pool lifeguard saving everyone and Clement could be in charge with wording and typing of the invitations. Adam Lizka could announce everyone as they come in the door and pvan could be the bathroom attendant. Abbycat, you're in charge of the animals. Shoestring can be the bartender and Cancer_Stock can be the emcee keeping everything right on track. Mr. J will be in charge of cleaning everything up when its all over. Ms. Kozak will be singing and dancing for
entertainment and vf500 will be serving hot dogs from his Mr. Tube Steak cart. WBNE_naveseal will be the bouncer for the evening and Toastman will be giving the toasts. DD_factfinder will be in charge of covering the party for a future article in the TTRIF news. Tom G won't be allowed in and will have to watch from the outside. If I forgot anyone, please say what your specialty area is.

Here is my Exclusive Thank You:

I did not attend the funeral; but I wrote a nice letter saying I approved of it.

How could you overlook me?! Rarely a message was ever publicized before with my name left out. :-) What happened?! Surely you have heard about my new-fashioned title that Mr. Michael J Pollard has bequeathed upon me, "The One And Only Cut & Paste Specialist!" Trying to walk around with this crown of light spreading luminous radiance is intensely difficult at times. Thank goodness for Robert Pool (my supporter, with the handsome CEO) who comforts and assists me at chow-chow intervals. Don't know what I would do without him, he is an Angel.

Deep down though, I know that both YOU and Mr. B are beside yourselves with enthusiasm over my recent fame. I can see the two of you now jumping up and down with glee … chanting …Bravo Cayman!
Encore!

As only you would phrase it Quackerjack, by this cliché:

From her humble beginnings on the now discontinued 1st Thermo Tech YAHOO Thread, Cayman has accomplished much. I applaud her as do the silent majority … she indeed has a special talent.

On a more serious note, even with all this notoriety, I know that I could never hold a candle to your most cherished and beloved Mr. B. This whole ordeal (RB stepping down, maybe out the door for good later on) must be devastating for you as for Simi_Raven. Please accept my sincere condolences … and look at the bright side. You still have Nathan Jacobson … although I hear through the grapevine talk … reciprocal warm feelings (between him and Branconnier) are no more. Hmmm…../

Please allow me to do my fair share at the "Going Away Party." I will volunteer to paste all the negative and unfavorable posts written about René on the Richmond TMP. That way it will be easier for him to remember why he is leaving. Chuckie will help me I know … however, he will be gluing the complementary ones, that won't take long. After all, with his state of mind, I don't want him around too many OPEN windows in high places.

Is Stan Lis going to be there? Let me know so I can plan what to wear. I want to look my best for Rene's party.

Regards,

CAYMAN

PS Mr. Pollard … I really didn't mean to flog you … (too much). ;-)
