thanks jim - i already know about viwes.com. it updates only once per month.

the wsj site is interesting 'cause it apparently updates more often that that. i don't know where they get there info 'cause i have been under the impression that the short interest info comes direct from the exchanges and is only made available once per month. my information comes from the nice folks at dailygraphs.
