Great post from Yahoo by RickJ

>>If you are new to IDTC use these quick facts as a springboard for DD.

If you've been around a little LONGer, use these quick facts as a reminder of why you're here:

1. Net2Phone IPO/Spinoff - Adds $.08-$.10 per share per quarter;
2. Possibility/probability of shareholders receiving Net2Phone IPO shares;
3. Probably investment by "internet kingmaker" Softbank;
4. Additional investment by at least one other Fortune 500 (speculation = AOL because of recent Netscape/Net2Phone deal);
5. Upwards earnings revisions and analyst upgrades once spin-off is official;
6. Brokerage houses that have "gone silent" on IDTC (meaning high probability that they will be involved in the IPO) - Goldman, Morgan, Bear, H&Q, Lehman, BT and Oppenheimer. I may have these mixed up, Hawaii60 knows the list though.
7. Unannounced Click2Talk deal with IBM;
8. Unannounced Net2Phone deal with Prodigy;
9. Unannounced Net2Phone deal with Compaq;
10. Unannounced Net2Phone deal with Go.Com (possible Disney connection);
11. IDTC to resurrect Genie;
12. Unveiling and deployment of a new switch that is 6x as fast and 1/2 the price of current switches;
13. 90% marketshare in the next most significant evolutionary step of the internet;
14. Current partnerships with the likes of Yahoo!, IBM, Netscape, Excite, Geocities, Real Networks, Infospace etc.
15. Continuous international market penetration;
16. Float steadily decreasing with majority insider holdings;
17. Next version of Netscape Communicator (June?) to bundle Net2Phone...which browsers are next in line?
etc.
etc.
etc.

idtc presents thursday at the h&q conf, the question is will they release info prior to the conf, or wait until thursday? they are at show this time, and will not be pulling out.

THURSDAY, APRIL 29 - INDUSTRY FOCUS: Communications - Systems & Semiconductors
Grand Ballroom Colonial Room Elizabethan A/ B Elizabethan C/ D California East California West - Private Presentations
9: 00 IDT Corporation

as for today, we had low volume and no one wanted to sell. i found today, outside of the last few minutes to be very bullish considering the naz was down all day.

i think the sun will be high again in the sky by friday. time to relax and ponder.

good luck

I posted this on the board before and it seem to fall on deaf ears. It is saying that Net2Phone and ICQ have entered a partnership. It seems to me that it confirms AOL is the other partner. The info is available from their site at quicknet.net. I just ordered one of their cards so I can't say for sure how much it improves Net2phone performance. Sounds like pretty substantial news to me. Any comments?

<<The Internet PhoneJACK supports Mirabilis ICQ. ICQ has a very popular locator service that enables you to find out when your associates are logged into the Internet. With over 10 million users it's probably the most widely used service of its kind on the net. Using the Internet PhoneJACK and ICQ you can dial an ICQ number using your touch tone phone and automatically place a call to the person via PC-to-PC or, if the person is not on-line, Quicknet's SwitchBoard software will automatically place a call to the phone number left in ICQ by the recipient. This is an exclusive feature of Quicknet's Internet SwitchBoard software 2.0 Beta 3 or later and requires Quicknet sourced Net2Phone version 8.50.>>

Net2Phone PRO. Has anyone heard of it? It seems to involve a version Of Net2Phone that is integrated into ICQ (AOL Instant Messenger?). Take a look at quicknet.net web site. Also, a new graphic from Net2Phone is displayed there. From the web site:

<<Net2Phone users drive demand for new joint product offering... Quicknet and IDT have joined forces to provide users with a shrink wrapped solution that connects your PBX to IDT's Global Network, providing the highest quality, lowest-priced international calling. Please note that Net2Phone Pro is only available from IDT.

Remember if you like convenience of Net2Phone, you'll love the improved quality when you use Net2Phone with the Internet PhoneJACK and Internet LineJACK.>>
