Sun Microsystems' Java(TM) Media Framework Rates High in IVT Burstware(R) Debut

SAN FRANCISCO, April 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Instant Video Technologies (OTC Bulletin Board: IVDO - news),
www.burst.com, today announced that Sun Microsystems' Java(TM) Media Framework (JMF), which IVT integrated into their
newly released Burstware® video networking software, has been instrumental in Burstware®'s successful commercial
debut.

The media playback features of the Java(TM) Media Framework (JMF) provide a rich set of industry standard codecs to
render graphics (video) to the screen. Together with Burstware®'s delivery layer, which is codec-independent, IT managers
can now transmit video using a wide number of formats such as MPEG-1, AU, AVI, QuickTime and others in
Faster-Than-Real-Time(SM) over networks. ''Sun's JMF frees IVT to focus on many other critical features of our
enterprise-level video delivery over networks,'' says Richard Lang, CEO and Chairman of Instant Video Technologies.
''With codec compatibility handled by JMF and Burstware®'s delivery layer, we have been free to build load balancing,
delivery scheduling, buffer management and diagnostics into our first commercial release of Burstware®.''

The Java(TM) Media Framework (JMF) 1.0 API specifies a simple, unified architecture, messaging protocol, and
programming interface for media playback. JMF, in addition to providing a common player interface, allows any VAR or
developer to customize the look and feel of the Instant Video Technologies Burstware® Player for their own branded
applications.

''We are excited about how well Burstware® leverages JMF functionality,'' said Gina Centoni, director, Java Platform
Product Marketing. ''We look forward to seeing the substantial enhancements Sun's announced for IMF in release 2.0,
integrated into future versions Burstware®.''

Burstware® is enterprise class client-server software that takes streaming to the next level. Taking advantage of two
important industry trends, available bandwidth and inexpensive storage, Burstware® optimally pre-loads configurable
client-side buffers in Faster-Than-Real-Time(SM) ''bursts.'' This intelligent resource management actually increases the
number of successful video and audio deliveries possible on an existing network infrastructure, beyond what is possible
with real-time streaming. The Burstware® architecture also isolates each client from network degradations, which insures
that the quality of the media content remains at the highest level possible.

ONEM- Strong Close today.
Very impressive, especially on a day when most internets fell.
