Gene: The term E-commerce apparently means many things to many people. As an information hound, I couldn't live without the net. It is also an incredibly inexpensive way to move heavy data. With respect to buying items, so far, I've used the net exactly as you suggest,....pricing info, details, comparisons, but rarely buy anything. When shipping gets added in, and the inconvenience of not having local service or local warrantee back-up, it's not worth it to me for most items. My quarrel is strictly with the valuations attached to net stocks. Best, Earlie
