Today's news:

South Africa's beleaguered mines won a welcome boost on Friday with news that DEBEERS CONSOLIDATED MINES had resumed gemstone exports that had been blocked for three months because of a pricing dispute. De Beers said it had resumed limited exports of its South African diamonds but remained in dispute with the government's diamond valuator, which has stopped all gem exports since a row broke out over how diamond exports were priced and taxed. "We have resumed limited exports but there is still no settlement with the valuator," De Beers spokeswoman Tracey Peterson told Reuters.

On this news, price rose 1/2 pt. I expect that DBRSY will rise somemore over the next couple of months as exports contribute to earnings.
