Quote from DBC:

>>After the close of Tuesday's trading session, America Online (AOL: news, msgs) said it earned 11 cents a share in its fiscal third quarter, bettering Wall Street's consensus view of 9 cents a share according to First Call. A year ago, the Internet heavy netted 4 cents. Revenues leaped 66 percent. AOL added 1.8 million net new subscribers in the quarter, an increase of about 12 percent over the prior period.

Ahead of the release, AOL shares lost 7 to 155. In after-hours activity, the stock gave back an additional 2 points to 153. The stock shrank to as low as 17 1/4 on Sept. 1 in conjunction with the July-September bear market. See full story. <<

Should I short AOL tomorrow?
I made great money last Monday by shorting AOL (i.e., over $2,000 in a day). I find that shorting a portion of shares I own gives me a chance to earn quick cash (day trade) on the temporary drop of stocks that I like to hold. This requires, however, that a stock opens only a few points down (i.e., doesn't gap) then descends until close of the trading day.
