Notes on several posts: - Nextlink at 114 million coverage POPs is far less than reach of ART, AT&T, Teligent and Winstar. - Esrey referred to business as fixed wireless and release stressed residential and small biz reach. MDS remains asymetrical and millimeter bandwidth still needed by anything more than SOHO's. - All of Puerto Rico and places like Reno are in LMDS auction. Reno has attracted 10 bids in each of first 2 rounds including Western PCS, Touch America aka Montana Power & Light and Hyperion. Not exactly chopped liver and there are other dense areas when one looks at limited build requirements to reach 70% of population in a number of the remaining BTA's. - BWA stocks today were not bow-wows either.
