I work for T. It's amazing how many announcements they have been making over the past year. I heard that the people in the T PR department have to wear beepers 24/7 to be ready to update their PR website when a new acquistion is made. T is definitely positioning itself to get into the Internet in a big way.

What's the deal with the TPEG preferred shares? Did I read the filing correctly, they be converted to commons at a 1.25 ratio at any time?

Rande, great post. I add to that copper futures keep rising, closing over 70 cents. That shows the reflation of Asia/Brazil etc, is working, so plan accordingly. I still think China will devalue at some point, then we will see more competitive devaluations, not sure how all this will play out, but things will start to change in our markets, maybe just a rotation at first, who knows for sure?
Our picks will be ahead of the curve.

M-3 is contracting now, rapidly, from 14% late last year to 2% now, and that has been the gasoline for this mother of bull markets.

Obviously we both feel something strange is afoot.

Speaking of traps . I received a couple of emails in the last hour where people said that they could not connect to Etrade . Sounds too familiar .

Again, stay on toes in the morning. . . I smell a trap.

Agreed. Mostly cash now, no major long inet positions. BKS which is/isn't a true inet anyways. Short a couple of others.
