Skeets, A while back you asked about the article where Dataquest claimed that pc sales were up 1% last year. I couldn't find the original article again, but Merrill Lynch quotes it in this piece, quoted yet again on the Compaq thread: Message 8026037

I hope this is what you needed. I posted the actual article URL on the thread in Feb, but I can't remember what post number.

BTW, this is the Merrill report that Reuters mangled and Chuzz and BGR tried to use to slime me. Reuters had a 3% growth number and since Chuzz and BGR somehow have no access to the original reports, they flamed me for saying it was 1%. <g>

skeeter...thank you for coming to my aid in the matter of oranges and imacs...the consumer can and does discern quality and the price he must pay for same...as in oranges and computers..., i'll get mikey and momma bear to move over..still some room on the pitard fo you<g>
