As a result of defendants' acts of unfair competition, defendants have been benefitted to the detriment of Business Wire. Defendants should be required to provide restitution of such amounts to Business Wire.

When they say, "restitution of such amounts", they obviously refer to money you've earned by virtue of birdsnest wire that ought to have been theirs. Or are they talking about amounts of benefits, sort of in a general sense, like fresh air and water.

Its just SOOooooo confusing. How have you been benefitted? Financially? a better sex life? I'd like to get in on next April 1 if that is the case...

Seriously though: its tough to have your life disrupted by this kind of stuff; so hang tough and if you need any witnesses for testimony...I come fairly cheap :) I will tell the court that my opinion of business wire has not been altered in the least, as a result of them knowingly publishing that April Fools Joke...

BTW, there are many examples of the media perpetrating April Fool Jokes. They do it every year. And then there are jokes in general. Anybody remember when the martians attacked planet Earth? Now that was a good one! I wonder if the statute of limitations has ran out on that!

Off to bed. This should be hot thread of the week!

My take is the benefit received was a good laugh.<I know I did>

Defendants should be required to provide restitution of such amounts to Business Wire.

So they asking for a good laugh as restitution, well I think this is hilarious,

I think they want Webnodes
or
They can use the funphone to check their TechniClone stock

Maybe they see themselves being able to leverage a Webnode investment into a real winner, like shrimp farming. Perhaps they intend to take the funphone funds and buy some BLM land in Nevada. Maybe they intend to testify in court and say things like Oh Yes. Perhaps they want to be part owners of the new Football Team. They may be mad about the OVIS thing. Perhaps Austin has used some of his 427 million dollars to buy a secret interest in Business Wire. Maybe Jack has pointed out that the rental property has unrecovered methane worth millions. Perhaps Chatty and Cliffy influenced them. Maybe Wellrich is promoting the stock, oh yes, what stock ???
Maybe they are hoping they can get an exclusive export license for the United States, or at least Florida and Nevada.
Perhaps they have several websites, valued at several hundred million dollars in potential revenue, to unsuspecting investors. Maybe they have a new web browser that will automatically police chat rooms and make online sex safe again. A new process might be involved, with pending patents and many trademarks. After careful analysis, this is what I consider to be the most likely, the Indian talked.

Perhaps they are as stupid as this lawsuit makes them appear to be. Beer anyone, oh sorry, look at the time, coffee anyone ?
