Curly, I think that they did this once before just to find that their share buying was mistimed. There were also some ramblings from the converts holders, buying shares at few times book and when the company is still expected to lose money for another quarter, may not be considered "fiduciarily responsible".

Jay, In relationship to that cash, an interesting question might be could some of this cash be deployed to broaden CYMI's technological base by acquisition of companies in a much weaker financial position.

Ask A & A what can we expect to see done about all that cash! Why don't we do another
Stock Buyback! Given that Applied Materials is trading at 30 times next year's earnings - why
aren't A & A using all this cash to buyback even more stock when CYMI is trading way under
30 times $1.30 ~ $40!

While the world economies are looking better, there is still a lot of risk out there. I would much prefer that Cymer take the conservative route and hold on to their cash until we are very sure the woods are behind us.
