From: subicman Like alot of others I have been following this board for months but was not a registered SI member-- until now. My only experience (outside of investing) in the patch was working for Tidewater upon retiring from the Navy--so I very much appreciate the inputs on this board from those here who know the industry from the inside out and share those inputs with us. Currently I am long RIG, FLC, GLM, VTS NE and dare I say NTAH (in at .08). After reviewing the last 600 posts specifically keying on those of Slider and Robert H, I will make 2 comments: 1. Slider was too critical of Robert H's post 43217. 2. Slider has contributed more to this board than Robert H ever will. That said, I sincerely hope that Slider can realize that the vast majority of us want him to continue on here and hope he will do so. If I am wrong let me know (I'd only expect about 2 or 3 responses as I think the vast majority agree with me). I have nothing against Robert H and hope he will post in a contributory manner. I don't want this board to turn into a Yahoo thread. New subject--IIR- announced an acquisition proposal today (IIR up 15% on the news). Good luck to all--I hope I can contribute as well.
