Then it's gotta be a typo in A. G. Edwards's publication. What are they projecting as earnings for that year?

The highest estimate for FY2000 at Zacks is $1.63. If that is Edwards's estimate, and if the earnings go up a whopping 50% from there, the $1000 stock price at two years from now would inherently reflect a trailing PE at that time of over 400.

It's gotta be a typo. At a price of $100 (two zeros), the trailing PE using those assumptions would be about 40. Much more likely.
