Canadian bidders.

For our auction tomorrow, if you want to bid, YOU MUST BE ON THE BID.COM WEBSITE in order to see the prices.

Took me a while to get in and when I did, parts of the screen didn't appear due to congestion, but the important parts were visible: the video, the audio, the declining prices and real time, and the spot where you ring in your bid.

No doubt congestion was a factor. This isn't surprising because everybody in the U.S. and Canada wanted to see this live for the first time.

In time, Canadians would not appear on the U.S. auction site and that will ease congestion.

But damn, wish I could have bid from Canada, would have loved to pick up a 20 inch Sony computer screen for $89 and those pendants for a buck.

Nicely put Frank. That about sums it up. There were good points and bad. Like you said we sold items. Did you catch the fact that this will be a weekly thing now?

Anybody who can't see the potential here should be buying steel companies not internet stocks. Where is the competition for this technology right now, today?? No where!! You are seeing the new world wide home shopping channel unfolding before your eyes. Look to the horizon, hmmmm......it's Christine.com in BIDS T-shirt!

>>the internet wasn't built in one day...lots of trial and error...the key here is that they had a ton of traffic and people like the concept of a declining price auction...the main key we must all remember is that it SOLD ITEMS....A little tinkering and a new host and everything should be fine.....THE SMART ONES are the ones that see past the debut and think about the REAL ISSUE....<<

I agree wholeheartedly Frank. Look at where this is going, and who is leading the way. Clean it up, refine it, put it on round the clock, and then take this format to interactive TV.

For those who say that this had some kinks, remember this quote . . .

"Finding the problem is more important than the solution." - Albert Einstein

Bid.Com just tried something revolutionary, and they now know what they have to do next. Stay tuned!
