The Chinese government is accelerating negotiations with Israeli telecommunications companies, with a view to forming joint ventures in China. The Chinese Minister of Information Industry Wu Jichuan met today with representatives of ten Israeli communications companies, that are accompanying President Ezer Weizmann on his visit to China. A week and a half ago, the Chinese visitor ended her visit to Israel, after meeting with six of these companies.

The companies attending today's meeting with RAD Communications, VocalTec, Gilat, ECI, NBase, Check Point, WizCom, Comverse, BreezeCom, Elbit and Scitex.
