It's worth rereading article 'Killer sequel' in Forbes for April 5, 1999. Did you see that 40% of SNE's global system wide operating profits came from PlayStation last year? And that these profits were more than the 4 major US TV networks combined?

I think video games have been chronically overlooked in the US - perhaps because it is three Japanese companies that dominate it. ERTS is an interesting angle on this but I prefer retailers & distributors of budget video games. They can smooth over console transitions easier. Here FNCO and GTR.CN seem interesting choices.

Incidentally PlayStation II will not make US markets until Christmas of next year i.e. 2000.
