Tom and other shorts. There's nothing wrong with shorting a stock that is obviously overbought. BIDS may soon fall in this category. However, it is a foolish man who shorts against the trend. This one has tremendous momentum with incredible volume. Today it churned a lot of shares in the CDN$28-30 range and consolidated to a large degree, even though Nasdaq was tanking huge. There is still a lot of positive interest in this stock. Market cap, earnings, blah blah are all irrelevant right now. We both know it. This may be an excellent short one day soon, but right now you are going against the momentum and you will get burned big time. My suggestion is for you to cover your short and wait for a definite signal indicating a turnaround in the trend because this one still has considerable upside to it.
