Last night the SPOOS was painted higher, IMO so that today's fair value would be down. Right now down about 7, the SPOOS is right at fair value. . . this would indicate a flat opening.

But with the number of inexperienced traders out there, they put on CNBC, see the down ticker on SPOOS and think we automatically go down. . .then our favorite cheerleader [made popular with "AOL HAS STOCK TO SELL IN SIZE"], CNBC's Maria Bartoromo says, "S and P futures market now down [6 and change] indicate a down opening" . . .which is a totally false statement.

BIDS was bidding up to mid-20s. . . now fallen to mid-18s.

Internets were all looking down. AOL and MSPG beat the street and are both indicating down. DLJ DOWNGRADED 3 internet stocks today. . .not yesterday or the day before or tomorrow. . .TODAY. . .XCIT, GCTY and one other . . . Now Bartoromo says "internets are coming back."

All of this stinks of a trap of one sort or another, IMO.
