What a fascinating concept! I can see your point, but will modernization and the cultural transition truly keep the passions of greed and hunger for power at bay? The only way I could see it working would be to have a force so powerful and hopefully benign that would have the strength to keep the world in tune with progression. But I don't know if that could ever happen....unless it's beginning to happen right now with NATO. But then, what about China? What role will they end up playing in the scheme of things? Juanita
