Thanks for reference to an excellent site. I will read thru when I have more time.

The argument in favor of g.lite is reasonable if the bottleneck is the backbone itself as stated below in a g.lite white paper.

As I understand it the bottleneck will not be the backbone itself but the ATM switching system @ the CO that transfers all local traffic coming into to CO onto the provider's network & then to its POP on the Internet backbone.
