AOL doesn't have the firepower to buy T. A merger may be possible down the road, but T would have to be willing. T not only has a greater market-cap, but mainly bundles and bundles of cash, which AOL doesn't. I also think it is unlikely that AOL will be able to outbid T for Media-one. Even if Comcast and AOL team together for Media one, it will stretch them both financially versus a very liquid T. Better off looking for someone else.

That would be huge if AOL bought AT and T. Would be an outright purchase of them? And would this purchase slow the growth of AOL.
