Good job. Exactly right. I think you have a potential future career ahead of you giving husbands lessons on how to treat their wives.

Logistically speaking, I suppose it would actually be the wives that hired you. Wonder if any of the husbands would listen?

Rambi. you are so right! It's not my fault though, along with being an idiotic man. I was trained that approach at the couples camp we went to! What the heck do those phyco-babblers know! They were all MEN! :-)

I still need to read that men are from mars book....what a slacker.

>ANd that active listening approach
is worthless when dealing with the full blown psychosis of near term pregnancy.<

I don't know - an angle I haven't properly considered.
"Honey, I never hear a word - is that what you're saying?"
"How would I like to carry a depleted uranium bowling ball on my pubic bone?"
"You would like me to rip this Alien out of your body?"
"I'm flattered, Dear, but my divinity has been overrated and I'm sure I don't have the authority to damn anything."
"But if you had never married ... uh never mind."

I'll be in the garage...
