"Oh well, I should've hopped a plane....by: Havehunchbuybunch 55012 of 55013 I'd sure love to be on the mezzanine today at St. Francis in Frisco....there's going to be a lot going on there...Of course, our analyst at HQ Mark Langner not too far from there...but who else will be there...underwriting group? Total Half-Baked Blind Speculation: IMO ONLY... IPO: Net2phone...size 10mm shares (big one) priced at 15 company keeps 40% or 4mm, softbank and AOL 1mm each, two other corporate investors 500m each. Institutions/mutual funds/supporters 1mm, existing shareholders 3mm or about 1 in 10 shares held. Underwriting sizzles, oversubscribed, price raised to 18. Opening price 60 day high 85 close 65. In subsequent trading days/weeks settles in high 80s-100 range. Analyst upgrade cycle for net2phone begins since metrics are there and deals galore. Stock quickly exceeds 100 and heads for 200. Reaches it and splits, and heads up to 100 again. IDTC parent meanwhile has been working on railroad...Network buildout continues at aggressive pace with additional funds, advertising is now national with spokeswoman Joan Rivers...Sales skyrocket well over 1 billion run rate. IDTC stock goes to 130, splits 4 for 1, and is back at 50, and it's only early September. Whole new cast on Board, except for Hawaii, KSE, Havebunch, Crusader, Yagotta, Preach, Orr, Andy, Ferg, Oliver, Driller, lurker, nick...Daddylongstroke is still short, refusing to cover...waiting for whole internet thing to go away. On a merger monday, Bell Atlantic makes an unsolicited bid of 12 billion, or 300 per share for entire company, lock stock and barrel or 10x sales, just like QWST, except we are now making north of 1 per share. AOL and IBM which has bought Yahoo, place counter bids, but we are bought by MSFT, which MUST get into the game. We all retire rich early next year. Have a nice day. HHBB"
