Jim Kiggen, DLJ on CNBC right now. Very positive on AOL. He is being drilled hard on AOL and he is taking the punches very elegantly. Says AOL is synonymous with the Internet for many Americans.

Feels that AOL has a very well thought out broadband strategy and has a lot of options for broadband. Any broadband provider would want to access AOL's customer base and would be very eager to strike a deal with AOL. FCC strategy is one of AOL's smaller strategy to get into broadband. Overall he is extremely positive on AOL.

To me it seems that AOL is in the driver's seat for broadband and it is using its customer base as a leverage. ATT does not have that customer base and hence are pursuing a window (MediaOne) with cash. Does AOL have to do that?

Good idea, it's only 31 times 2000 Revenues. It's cheap. It's not like they have any competitors offering the same service at $10 to $15 a month.
