Tad:

Line width shrinks lead to a large increase in die per wafer and reduced PLD prices - Already underway, with the shift to 0.25-micron just the start and the prospect of 0.18-micron offering even more of the good stuff;

XLNX story is spelled E L A S T I C I T Y. On the most recent conf call, Roelandts touched on the rich vein of ASIC business these new geometries will allow XLNX to mine. Combine this with a diverse customer set, and you get the best of both worlds: broad based growth.

Tad,
thanks for the response.
could you please take the time to explain how you get $~30 target price once again. I realize that you are using teh 23% growth rate. Just for quick math, if I were to translate the 23% and convert to P/E and take this coming years eps estimate of lets say $2 (round numbers) doesnt that give a today price of $46. Then again, these days, p/e > growth rates. Please explain your math for the target price calculation. Or did I not properly read your target price?
