Tahera Corporation - Update on new kimberlite discovery - Ice claims

TSE: TAH

TORONTO, April 28 /CNW/ - Tahera Corporation (''Tahera'') has been
advised by its joint venture partner, Kennecott Canada Exploration Inc.
(''Kennecott''), that two holes have been completed on the new ''Vega''
kimberlite, located on the Ice Claims in the Northwest Territories.
The vertical discovery hole intersected kimberlite from 17 meters to 61.8
meters, and the second hole, drilled at a 45 degree angle, intersected
kimberlite from 47 meters to 94 meters.
The kimberlite core has been sent to Kennecott's laboratory for caustic
fusion analysis to determine if it is diamondiferous. Results from the
analysis should be available within the next few weeks. Kennecott will
continue to drill additional kimberlite targets on the Ice Claims and the
Rockinghorse Property before the current exploration program is completed in May 1999.

Will post some more info later.

Regards

Hello Vaughn,

The next few months should prove very interesting.

Munn results in a couple of weeks, I do not believe Suf would have continued drilling with a bigger drill if they had not found something worthwhile.

The start of the Yamba results anytime now. Althought Suf may want to wait and post results of several targets at once. This one could continue well into the fall.

Next should be Brazil, perhaps in a couple of months.

Camafuca bulk sample results anytime.

New pipes in SA? We are overdue on SA progress.

Uraguay? Maybe something by the summer. Nice place, spent a few months there a number of years ago. I should have looked for Diamonds while I was there instead of bars.

Interesting months ahead.

Cheers !!! Peter
