Clark, re It would be really nice to know a little more like if Omnitracks has effectively stopped growing...

Management usually gives a figure for new and total Omnitracs installations at every CC. From memory the the figure was 13,000 last quarter on a base of something like 270,000 units installed to date.
I can't find a reference right now in the 10K, but I seem to recall maybe 40,000 new units for all of fiscal 98. So it looks like a 15% to 20% grower, assuming stable pricing. That said, Q has plans to broaden this business into other areas (hence the name change to Wireless Business Solutions), so the growth rate going forward could actually accelerate.

Best regards,
Jim

Clark, you seem to be driving looking in the rear view mirror. Last quarter and the year before that is history.

Focus on the Book to bill ratio, focus on the worldwide standard that is emerging, focus on the new markets that CDMA is being deployed in, focus on the new businesses QCOM is spawning. They will be much better predictors of what is to come.
