Uh, brees? You're sounding perilously close to a commie there. Better watch your step in this company.

You might find this piece interesting. Camille Paglia could outflame anyone, I'd guess, and she ranges pretty far and wide here. But her view seems somewhat more coincidental with my "lifetime of memories" than the other conservative lines du jour being spouted around here.

Last week's horrifying massacre at Columbine High School in a suburb of Denver has brought widespread attention to clique-formation in high school -- a pitiless process that has remained amazingly consistent for the past 60 years. The arrogant jocks and debs still sublimely sail over the cowering nerds and wallflowers, who compensate by organizing their own pecking order, in minute gradations of status painfully obvious to everyone. salonmagazine.com

She lets everyone have it here, which is fine with me, there's plenty of blame to go around. I'd even agree with her on the Balkans, if I weren't so nauseated by the local "Let's lose one for Clinton" sentiment. Anyway, sanctions don't work, the Reaganauts bloviated for years and years.
