If there is one thing I have learned from Tim and this thread it is how to be more patient and play positions much more than daytrades. I like both, but in the long run position plays are much less risky and extremely profitable.

There are those who think it has to take longer to make the “big bucks” by playing positions. I disagree. Looking for values in good companies that are trading lower than they should can pay off fast. Sure it may take days or weeks (or months) but you won't find yourself standing on a corner washing car windows because of one stupid move. DD pays off big time and, after you subtract daytrading losses from gains, you will usually find yourself far ahead by holding a few carefully chosen stocks.

I love daytrading but I limit my positions to safe amounts and only do it when I can devote all of my attention to it.

I will now climb off my soapbox.<gg>
