AMTI has an unusual pattern of buying. There is significant buying coming in at the open, so much so, that the stock quickly reaches the high for the day. The remaining portion of the day the buying slows and the stock slowly retreats to lower levels, only to repeat the pattern the next day, day after day.

All the signs of someone positioning themselves for a hostile buyout. 1st step, buy as much as you can on the open market. 2nd step, make a run at the company with other shareholders in your corner so that you control a significant block. If offer is rejected, then continue to raise the stakes until the price is too good to be rejected... but at least you have the core position of shares you bought at lower levels that you will not have to buy at the higher price.

This is what it looks like to me... I may be wrong... any other ideas?
