Wow, you sure went out of your way to sound reasonable in your post. However, a quick review of your profile shows your personal bias towards the Webnode Three, and Janice in particular. In #reply-8809731 you accuse Janice of being a 'stalker' and say "if I were S.I. Bob or Jill, I would set a few of these bashers straight on what is acceptable "critique" and what isn't. I wouldn't jeopardize S.I.'s reputation by letting these overly basherly obsessed posters have free run on these boards as they do." You've got a profile full of gems like that.

If there are 'lurkers' who disagree with the majority, let them speak up.

As usual, Cindy, you're full of it.

I can imagine that Business Wire is standing between two fires now, angry "duped" people that want some action taken, and defensive S.I.ers who know the three on a more day to day basis and understand their repetoire.

What "angry 'duped' people"? More than 2000 emails were sent to the Webnode site; they're still coming in. Far as I know, there isn't a single complaint by anyone who claims to have been "duped". BizWire told the WSJ reporter that it had received "several" messages of support, woo woo.

It appears to me that Business Week would have been willing to laugh along with the "joke" had Janice et al not capitalized on the situation to further ridicule and bash Business Wire.

Well, Cindy, what "appears to you" isn't "what happened". BizWire was quite hostile from the very start. Came on strong with demands and threats from the get-go. Had they been willing to "laugh along", as you put it, we would most certainly have accommodated them.
