InterPacket Now Serves Espresso Internet Access Service in More Than 40 Countries Worldwide

SANTA MONICA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 27, 1999--InterPacket Group has begun offering Internet access over
Orion 1 satellite, further expanding the company's global satellite Internet service footprint throughout Eastern Europe.

Orion 1 is the latest addition to InterPacket's current capacity on PamAmSat 2, 3, 4, and Solidaridad 1, allowing InterPacket to
offer Internet access service to users worldwide.

InterPacket currently provides its Espresso Internet service to commercial clients in 44 countries on five continents. The
Espresso service provides direct, one-hop connectivity to Tier-1 Internet backbone networks in the United States and is
available in speeds up to 45 Mbps.

Using a powerful combination of satellite, high-speed terrestrial links and IP technology, Espresso provides a customized
