Wily : I called PQ support and the guy told me to add the system files by going to DOS and typing Well..that clears that up, at least. I spoke to PQ sales again today about the demo not working (I didn't want to wait on hold) and they didn't know about why the demo wouldn't work but they did confirm what you found out about only writing registration info to the floppy. Meanwhile my real copy of LF has arrived. If this one won't boot I'll copy my system files as you've outlined. First I'll prepare the disk I'm recovering to. The manual looks fairly complete..so lets hope for the best.. I'll be baack <g> Clarence
