*OT* LG - Thanks I'll ask him

Ramsey - Sounds like a software setup problem. If you are using excel as your charting software, it is a memory hog. I used to do all my stuff that way but got tired of having the problems you are having and switched to MetaStock for charting. It uses a lot less memory. If you aren't charting with it, then you are probably having the same problems I am. I figure the problem is in the swap file not releasing files after use. I just don't know how to configure it to work better. I ran through numerous troubleshooters but nothing has helped so far. Not to sound wishy washy but if you have a do it yourself box or discount one, it could be hardware. I built my own machine for the features I wanted and had to research heavily due to numerous motherboard incompatibility problems people often run into. I still think our problem is the Windows cache release not functioning properly. Glad to hear your running IE 5 as this was going to be my next course of action to try and fix it as I heard that it runs leaner. I guess it doesn't help so you just saved me some time.

PS - I get to stay home and try and trade today and the market has been flat all day. Arghhh again!

Good Luck to all,

Lee

If I get it figured out, I'll let you know. I know Gersh has a picture with 4 quote coms running so it can be done.
